Auctiva Sucks ....And then I move on... again!

Once again corporate greed hits. I didnt complain when auctiva originally said they were going to a pay service, after all, I was willing to pay a little more for the convience. However they are doing more than nickel and diming and kicked me when I was already getting up from being put down on the ground by higher Ebay fees. I can understand $25/month fee for heavy user, I could even understand paying 1.75% on each complete transaction. Where they kick you when you are down is you get charged by the meg for picture storage for your ads and it isnt cheap. on average it was going to cost me $20+ per month in picture storage alone! the only other choice was to store the pictures on Ebay and only list 1 pic for free and 15 cents each additional. Since I rarely use more than one picture, its cheaper for me to use Ebay and just pay .15 for any additional picture. And since I will need to keep half my stuff on ebay and will lose hundreds of stored picture and listings, I might as well go to ebay and do it all through their Turbo lister program. After all, Why should I pay $40 per month on top of Ebay when I can pay the same. It just wont be pretty, there will be no fancy animations or background, pretty bland and basic but unlike GM and Citibank, rather than sacrifice service to my customers and raise their costs, I would much rather work harder, tighten the belt and get it done. I have been here before when I first came to auctiva and you know what, getting knocked down sucks but if you can get back up and come back twice as hard, things will be ok. I most likely will not have a couple of hundred auctions for awhile on ebay but give me a few months and I WILL BE BACK! -
Commissioned Vintage sales this week

Ending tomarrow at 8pm PST we have several vintage trading cards being sold on commission. Complete your NFL collection with rare rookies from the 1973 Topps including Ken Stabler and Franco Harris (A must for all Pittsburgh Steeler fans!). Speaking of the Steelers, I am also proud to list a very nice Terry Bradshaw from the same series. For those who want to upgrad their 1973 topps collection, we have several nice issues. For starters, we have blue checklist from 6 different teams available (these are super rare and most likely one of the most expensive type of checklists out there!) Then we add in 3 of the best hall of fame players into the mix with great cards from Nolan Ryan, Roberto Clemente and Willie Mays. While these cards arent grade it, grading ranges from Very good to extra fine, just click on the enlarge link in each auction to see full color picture of the actual card, we dont just copy and paste pics from other ads! You are definately getting a wish granted by a wizard with these inexpensive auctions! Many are starting at 10% of book value and many of these items keep increasing in value on a monthly basis. Some of the highlights include:
Hard to find autographs of this year's Rookie of the year Matt Ryan (Press Pass Class of 2008 BV $200+) as well as his Topp's Chrome Xfractor rookie card and an extremely rare 2 color game used patch (only 15 of these exist in the world!) from the 2008 UD Ultimate collection.
Miami Dolphins fans have their future QB, Chad Henne, in cards so scarce that they can not even be booked by Beckett. A 5/10 rarity to catches the eye is the 2008 Topps Letterman Autographed Patch Booklet, a card so wide it doesnt fit the scanner but makes for one heck of a display piece. To also add to the rare artifacts found for this soon to be star is a 4clr game used card with a piece of a nfl ball (not shown due to space constraints but check out the auction listing by clicking this link and you will see that the trip to see this 2008 Absolute 2/10 piece is well worth it!). There is also a Leatherhead GU Auto also available for those who are on a budget.
Tampa Bay Ray's star rookie, David Price, is represented in the newly released piece Autographed Letter PAtch by Topps Finest. Grab this now as it may not be priced by Beckett but completed Ebay auctions has had these sell for as high as $75 each!
1 of a kind (1/1) printing plates with NFL HOF Legend Sonny Jurgenson and NBA All-Star John Stockton are there for the taking by those who seek to possess items that no one else can!

What can a penny get you? Alot at Ion Enterprises Auctions

There may not be such a thing as a free lunch but there is always a potential to when auctions for a penny at Ion Enterprises. 95% of our auctions start at a penny and sometimes they end at a penny. How can we do this you ask? becuase we learned that when you take a weighted average on all items that sell lower than value and all items that sell higher than value it evens out.

It may be opening day for both baseball and trout Season but the ebay bidders and watchers seem to be getting into the NBA version of march madness. As we get closer to the NBA playoffs, the top ten seem to draw more NBA cards towards it. Next week the top twenty might even get a little more crowded with a 9/9 triple threads autograph as well as many top rookie cards. Posted is a random selection of 30 auctions from Ion Enterprises starting at a penny. Representing the NBA in the form of basketball cards we have Larry Bird, Brandan Wright, Kevin Durant, OJ Mayo and the Magic Man himself in a great chrome refractor, Magic Johnson. Warming up in the dugout of baseball cards we have the line up of Jacob Turner, a hot USA baseball prospect!, 5 holographic HOF players (cy young, honus wagner, babe ruth, ty Cobb + 1 other),Dana Eveland Chrome RC (oakland A's Prospect) and a huge sealed set of some HOF player they call the Iron Man, Cal Ripken JR. For the kids we have a stable full of Bella Sara horses with unused codes and for the adult some vintage men's magazines (18 and over the even try bidding please!)
